Child injured in Northam car crash

A CHILD has been flown to hospital in Perth after a two-car crash in Northam. The crash happened on Great Eastern Highway near the intersection of Yilgarn Avenue at about 4.15pm on Friday. Three adults were also believed to have been in the cars which collided. It’s understood one of the adults suffered a broken leg. Emergency services volunteers, police and paramedics were called to the scene. The RAC rescue helicopter flew the child to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. The condition of the child is not yet clear.
