West Australian energy giant Woodside confirmed it had gas available for purchase by east coast processors, but said it would be charging commercial prices for supply. More trouble at youth detention centre

POLICE have been called to Banksia Hill Detention Centre as detainees run amok for a second night. Nine detainees were reported to be running around outside of their cells and starting scrub fires. Special operations officers were tonight again at the Canning Vale facility trying to bring the situation under control. According to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, the detainees set fire to scrub inside the grounds of the youth detention centre shortly after 6pm.
