IT’S been tumbling down outside for much of Saturday but for one lucky WA player it’s going to be raining money – $4.2 million of it to be exact.
There was only one division one winner nationally in Saturday Lotto and the ticket was sold in WA, providing the state’s 25th division one win of the year.
The winning ticket had the six magic numbers of 10, 11, 33, 6, 29 and 15 and was sold at Flinders Square Lucky Lotto in Yokine.
Another 13 WA players are $9245.20 better off after having five of the winning numbers, plus one of the two supplementaries 5 and 25.
Lotto players will now turn their attention towards Tuesday night’s OzLotto, which carries a division one prize pool of $30 million.
It was only last week that a WA tradie emerged as the 24th division one Lotto winner from the state for the year – after his $2.6 million ticket turned up in the back pocket of his work pants.
Still, that tale of luck pales in comparison to the NSW man who had misplaced his winning million-dollar ticket for 414 days.
