TROUBLED Docker Harley Bennell could find out on Tuesday if he’ll be sanctioned by Fremantle for his behaviour at a weekend WAFL game involving the Peel Thunder.

With coach Ross Lyon and Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich in Melbourne on Monday, the club advised the investigation into Bennell’s behaviour will be held until Tuesday.

According to 7 Sport, Fremantle are concerned at the condition Bennell was in as a spectator at the Mandurah ground.

Sheahan said Bennell’s recent behaviour, including being kicked off a plane last month, meant he was done at the elite level.

“He’s never going to play another game, Harley Bennell,” he said.

“His behaviour, apart from his physical problems, he’s got soft-tissue injuries and his behaviour is abysmal.”

On Monday, Bennell’s mother Kayleen took to social media to defend her son.

“All I’m asking as Harley Bennell’s mother, next time you want to make comments or pass judgement on my son, please stop and think that you have not walked in my shoes or been around him long enough,” she posted.

“Unless you know what it takes to become an elite sports person or know the physical or mental side … PLEASE if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say it at all.

“We all must remember that we are only human.”
