There is peak-hour chaos for Brisbane rail commuters as issues with the northern line disrupt all services on the network.
A number of Brisbane trains have come to a standstill, causing lengthy delays for commuters.
A Queensland Rail spokeswoman said the control centre lost communication with trains travelling north about 5:00pm.
Translink said there was a flow-on effect disrupting all lines.
Buses are being organised to transport passengers.
