Henry had a ‘heart of gold’

THE man who fell to his death from the balcony of a Fremantle pub has been named as 28-year-old Henry Cusack, a much-loved Perth man who will be missed by hundreds of friends and family.

Mr Cusack fell from the balcony of the Sail and Anchor Hotel on South Terrace about 8.30pm.

Ambulance paramedics rushed to treat the West Perth man who was taken to hospital but died overnight.Police said he was sitting on the back of a sofa on the hotel’s balcony when the incident happened.

They are investigating whether he leant back and fell through plastic cafe blinds onto the pavement below.

Friends have today gathered to honour their mate, who attended John XXIII College and worked in finance and the building industry.

One described him as “one of a kind” who left “a footprint on this world”.

Another said: “your heart of gold will shine on forever.”

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
