SHE’S known for wearing bejewelled gimp masks and adorning herself in phallic patterns, and now Imogen Anthony, the model girlfriend of radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands, could be coming to the small screen.
As Foxtel flag an overhaul for The Real Housewives Of Sydney cast for any potential second season, Confidential has learnt that Anthony has been proposed as a possible new member.
Two of the season one Housewives, former political WAG Lisa Oldfield and famed jeweller’s wife Athena X Levendi, told Confidential they would rally behind the 26-year-old.
“Kyle mentioned to me that Imogen would be perfect for the show and I have to agree. She’s a younger, prettier version of me. She’s ballsy and doesn’t give a f …,” said Oldfield, who has made the suggestion to producers. ‘Plus she’s a lot of fun.”
All of the women have been asked by producers to submit suggestions on potential new cast members.
Levendi agreed, adding that Anthony would “love to be on the show”.
Oldfield also suggested that Karl Stefanovic’s ex-wife Cassie Thorburn would be a great addition.
However, neither Oldfield nor Levendi are guaranteed a spot in a second season, if the show is renewed.
The Daily Telegraph revealed last week that US TV producers found the Sydney cast “too extreme” and looked to be snubbing purchasing the rights for the show.
Foxtel’s Executive Director of Television pointed specifically to Levendi and Oldfield, believing the women had pushed “their own agendas” adding, “a lot of the women in this show were nasty for nasty’s sake and have no redeeming features.”
However, insiders say all cast members positions will be reviewed in order for the show to get the balance between drama and friendship right.
Anthony’s management didn’t comment.
