A MAN has been charged after being caught drink driving twice separately on the same night in suburban Perth.
Traffic Enforcement Group officers pulled the man over for speeding in a Hyundai Elantra at about 12.50am on North Lake Road in Cockburn Central.
The man provided a positive breath test, served a disqualification notice and released to walk home, police say.
A short time later on Sunday morning, police noticed the same car being driven by the same man along nearby Midgegooroo Avenue.
The man was stopped and taken the police station where he again provided a positive breath test, issued with a second disqualification notice and the car was impounded.
The 26-year-old man of Cockburn Central was charged with driving under the influence, exceeding 0.08 and no authority to drive.
