Man shot in Secret Harbour


TWO men – one with a gunshot wound – are tonight in police custody following an alleged shooting in Secret Harbour this afternoon. 

Police placed Noosa Drive in lockdown after reports that a shot had been fired at a house on Noosa Drive about 2pm.

Detectives found a bullet hole in a front window of the property and blood on the driveway.

Seven News said it was believed the man who fired the shot got on a motorbike and drove away.

Police inquiries led them to three locations in Atwell, Lakelands and Mandurah.

Two men, including one who had a gunshot wound, are helping police with inquiries tonight.

The shot man’s injuries are not life threatening.

Residents in Atwell told Seven News they heard police shouting at a man to put his hands in the air as they trained their guns on him.

The man was arrested and is tonight being questioned by detectives.

Police remained at the Noosa Drive property at two other scenes tonight – a house in Lakelands where the injured man went for help and Peel Health Campus where he taken for treatment.
