Pink regrets saying she’s Team Taylor

SINGER Pink rarely apologises for being outspoken but in a new interview she says she never should have got involved in Taylor Swift and Katy Perry’s spat.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 38-year-old recalled being asked on a London radio program if she was on Swift’s side or Perry’s.

“Taylor. Is that OK?” she replied. “You can’t win no matter what you say, anyway. Everyone wakes up offended.”

Now, the mum-of-two says she should have declined to say anything.

“I should’ve just kept my mouth shut, because I don’t believe that. I don’t care,” Pink said. “I felt rushed and I didn’t know what to do. And I paid for it, because then the next day: ‘Pink is Team Taylor.’ ”

“I have two kids — I have a baby. And it’s so different now. I’m not inclined toward drama and feuds and sound bites,” she said.

She shares two children with husband Carey Hart daughter Willow Sage, 6, and son Jameson Moon, 9 months.

Perry, 32, and 27-year-old Swift had been embroiled in a bitter beef ever since Swift accused Perry of stealing her tour squad.

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it,” Swift said, without naming names. “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’”

The feud saw dis tracks and snarky jabs, though Perry has since expressed her desire to end the squabble.

Pink has also recently revealed that her own feud with Lady Marmalade collaborator Christina Aguilera was over.

The pair fell out after Pink says Aguilera’s manager came into the Lady Marmalade meeting and started making demands.

“He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part.’ And I stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f*cking meeting’s about.’”

Now the pair has buried the hatchet.

“I [heart] Xtina, we’ve made amends….” she tweeted in August.
