Victoria Police will be closing parts of Melbourne’s CBD overnight to map out the crime scene of the deadly Bourke Street rampage.
In a Facebook post, police said they would close Swanston Street, between Little Collins and Bourke streets, and Bourke Street, between Swanston and William streets, to do “detailed mapping” of the area.
The roads will be closed to cars and pedestrians between midnight and 5:00am.
Police said businesses and residents in the area had been advised.

In January, six people died and more than 30 were injured when a car was driven into pedestrians in Bourke Street mall during the busy lunchtime period.
The case remains before the Magistrate’s Court.
Police said they would not make any further comment.
