SWIMMING with whale sharks may be next on Pippa Middleton’s honeymoon bucket list after the famous bride and her billionaire husband landed near Exmouth today.
After checking out of luxury hotel COMO The Treasury yesterday morning, Ms Middleton and her new husband James Matthews were spotted at Perth Airport emerging from a black Range Rover and boarding a 12.40pm Qantas flight to Learmonth Airport.
Wearing a pale blue summer dress, Ms Middleton — the sister of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge — smiled at waiting journalists and photographers, telling them “we’re having a wonderful time”.
After disembarking the plane with about 70 other passengers at Learmonth, about 36km south of Exmouth, the newlyweds waited for their luggage before being driven away in a four-wheel-drive.
They headed to their accommodation at the remote beach-side safari camp Sal Salis, on the shores of the Ningaloo Reef, famous for its whale sharks and manta rays.
The loved-up couple arrived in Perth on Sunday afternoon from the Northern Territory, where they reportedly took in the sights and photographed saltwater crocodiles in waterways at Kakadu.
They were married two weeks ago at a lavish private ceremony in Englefied, in the English countryside, with the bridal party including Ms Middleton’s nephew and niece, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
